COLLABS 

The Butterfly Council was a community art piece exploring memory, history and communication with land, plants, and all beings. Through the community prompt, "What is your earliest memory?", participants explored memory in relation to identity and belonging with land. Each participant wrote their unique word on the canvas as their tag, and drew a butterfly and learned about the interdepedence between the Karner Butterfly and Wild Blue Lupine. We also discussed questions around how we can each seek council in nature for problems we may be facing.
