EDUCATION
After receiving my BFA in art, I worked as an in-house Graphic/Creative Designer for over three years until forming my own design and illustration studio. I combine my art background with industry experience to bring unique ideas to the table. I’ve worked with partners such as WeWork, Equinox, Hu Kitchen and Delta Airlines to create unique brand events and product experiences. In addition to graphic design, including branding, packaging, print and digital work, I’m passionate about visual/spatial storytelling, creating environments for unique experiences and cultural-placemaking.

Logo and Visual Brand Identity
I designed the visual brand identity for a performance consulting business called Lanternist Creative Consulting. It was important to the client to communicate a welcoming and trustworthy brand. The logo emphasized his performance and writing experience with a logo mark that felt timeless and grounded while also hinting at the playful and uplifting approach that the consultancy offers.

FEATURED PROJECT
Found at the intersection of retro Hawaiian and modern coffee shop, this cafe environment concept aims to be hip, yet not so much that it feels unwelcoming. Nice simple finishes, paired with a modern take on vintage surf style creates an inclusive environment that you know you are getting a quality product from. Picking a warm to cool color scheme, and a couple of tropical patterns, allows us to create lively graphics to pair with the sophisticated finishes. Showing that we take our product serious, but we also enjoy what we do. This concept was a collaboration with my design colleague on concept work, including visual mood boards and ideation all the way through to final presentation. My individual contributions included the 3D mockups, as well as various assets including menu designs.

FEATURED PROJECT
One of a number of landing page designs I created for product launches at Laird Superfood. For this project, I worked with our digital marketing director, CMRO, and lead designer to design the branding around an unsweetened vegan coffee + creamer mix. The goal was to target the sugar-free, keto and paleo customer base with something fresh, healthy, summer appropriate and energizing. I worked with our internal team and outside developers to ensure responsive design across all devices.

FEATURED PROJECT
For this product, my colleague and I worked with the marketing team to create a fresh new packaging look for a new subsection of mushroom blend products. To maintain a strong presence and recognition of our brand, we flipped the color blocking to the bottom, and preserved the bold condensed typeface that lived on our other products. Incorporating abstract illustrations and an earthy color palette allowed it to be differentiated among the rest of the line. These choices, also targeted a more niche audience with stricter diets (keto, paleo etc.) as well as bio-hackers and those seeking an alternative to coffee.

CAFE MENU
My role in this project was to design a new coffee menu for a local cafe. The goal was to create a simple menu that a showed the benefits of buying a Laird Superfood coffee. I created several thin-line illustrations to offset the blocky bold typography and communicate the functional ingredients.
